The San Luis Obispo Sportsmen's Association operates seven shooting venues:

Powder horn logo The Blackpowder Muzzleloaders compete the 2nd Sunday of each month with black powder matches beginning at 9:00 AM.
Archery target The Archery Range is open Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Thursday and Friday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Animated Target The Rifle & Pistol Range is open Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Thursday evenings from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Range is also home to the monthly Pop-Gun Night. The Range can close due to rain. Many courses of instruction are offered for both men and women.
Skeet LogoTrap Logo The Trap & Skeet Ranges are open Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM, Thursday/Friday evenings from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and Saturday/Sunday from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Experienced shooters are available to help newcomers. Training is offered.
Springfield Shooter The Association's High-Power Match program shoots on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 8:00 AM (9:00 AM during the summer daylight savings months) until 12:00 noon at the rifle and pistol range. The rifle and pistol range will be closed to the general public on match days until 12:30 PM, but the general public is invited to view and/or shoot this match.
Rifle Cowboy Cowboy Action Shooting through the Association's Chorro Valley Regulators occurs on the 2nd and 5th Sunday of each month. Rifle side match at 7:00 AM, Registration at 8:00, Main match runs from 9:00 to late afternoon.
Race Gun San Luis Action Pistol hosts five full time monthly matches, and a number of major annual events:
Defensive Pistol/IDPA shoots the 1st Saturday of each month. Registration at 8:30, Shooting at 9:00.
Action Pistol/USPSA shoots the 2nd Saturday of each month. Registration at 8:00, Shooting at 9:00.
Wheelgunners/ICORE shoots the 3rd Saturday (morning) of each month. Registration at 8:30, Shooting at 9:00.
Steel Challenge shoots the Sunday after the 3rd Saturday. Registration at 8:30, Shooting at 9:00.
Take-5 Rimfire shoots the 4th or 5th Sunday of each month at 12:00 noon.

In addition to the shooting venues, the Sportsmen also offers Hunter Safety classes.

The Board of Directors meetings are always the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM at the Educational Facility.
